M.Com - Master of Commerce

Master of Commerce (M.Com) is a full time postgraduate course offered by the institute. The duration of this course is two years which has been divided into 4semesters. The course covers all the related topics of the study field and gives rigorous training to the students.

DURATION OF THE COURSE: 2 years (4 semesters)

ELIGIBILITY: B.Com, BBM, BBA or BBS Degree course with 50% marks in aggregate with minimum three year duration recognized by this university as equivalent thereto. 45% in case of SC and ST.


ATTENDANCE:   A candidate shall be considered to have satisfied the attendance requirement if he / she has attended not less than 75% of the classes in each subject of the respective semesters (Theory,
Seminars, Practical Training, etc) actually conducted up to the end of the semester.  A candidate, who does not satisfy the attendance requirement, mentioned as above, shall not be eligible to appear for the Examination of the semester.

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT: Each candidate shall obtain not less than 50% of the marks prescribed for the Internal Assessment of each subject, including seminars.  Internal Assessment Marks shall be based on assignments / tests / oral examinations / Practical Components and seminar conducted in respective subjects.  Candidates obtaining less than 50% of the Internal Assessment marks in any subject shall not be eligible to appear for the examination in that subject.

A candidate shall obtain a minimum of 40% of marks in the University Examination and a minimum of 50% of marks in the aggregate for passing in a theory subject.

Each student will chose business research project problem in a business organization and prepare a dissertation report.  The report has to prepared by the student under the guidance of a faculty during the II and III semesters prepare the report and submit the same at the end of the each semester.
